Transforming Communities through Education and Support

If you want to get involved in your local community, check out all the ways you can volunteer and make a difference!

There are lots of different ways to volunteer! Depending on your interests there are lots of other ways to get involved whether you would like to get involved with our homework club, our sporting activities or organising fundraising events. Just Ask relies on the generosity and expertise of our volunteers to provide the best service to the children we work with

Just Ask run after school clubs with a focus on providing a safe and productive place for children to go after school.
We run a club for primary school children from Monday to Thursday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm
We also run an after school club for teenagers on Monday-Tuesday between 4:30pm and 6:30pm and on Wednesday 1pm - 3pm
There is also a teens club on Wednesday night from 7pm and 9pm in partnership with Bradog Youth Services.

While volunteering with Just ASK you will be assisting children with homework, serving dinners, helping in the kitchen, supervising games and participating in arts&crafts.  Maybe your passion is sports so you could organise games or competitions with the kids.  Our teens are always looking for help with exams and projects, or simply just a conversation on how their week is going. Do you have a driver's license, especially D1/D ? then we'd love to hear from you too. If you have any skills you feel would be beneficial to the young people we work with and you have the time, we would love you to join our friendly and dedicated Just ASK team.

If you would like to join our team, we will provide the following:

Outside Ireland?  We're delighted to have many volunteers from overseas.  All you need is a letter from your local police department to clear you.  They will give you the documentation needed.
